Stylish and cozy, you will feel right at home when you stay at Camp Keowee. You will have linens, a full kitchen with everything you could want, deck with seating and gas grill, indoor gas fireplace and access to a community pool and Lake Keowee. You can spend the day on the lake, by the pool or hanging at the cabin for some rest and relaxation. Please note that this is a rustic cabin in a rural area. Summer Guests booking June-August: IMPORTANT SUMMER TEMPERATURE NOTICE Before your arrival, we want to make you aware of a characteristic of our rustic cabin during periods of extreme summer heat. When outdoor temperatures exceed approximately 92°F, the cabin may not maintain the thermostat setting during the late afternoon and early evening hours. While we've worked to alleviate this issue, due to the cabin’s large windows, loft design, and metal roof, the main living areas and loft can reach temperatures above 80°F during the hottest part of the day. The lower-level bedroom and bathroom remain cool when the door is kept closed. The cabin typically begins cooling after sunset and returns to the thermostat setting later in the evening. We recommend monitoring the weather forecast before your arrival. If unusually hot temperatures are expected and you feel this may negatively impact your stay, you are welcome to cancel for a full refund. We do not mind waiting until 48 hours before arrival for you to make that decision. Guests should close the curtains mid day and put fans near vents to push out cool air. Additionally, the ceiling fan will circulate air.
